Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving revenue growth, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, managing staff performance, and ensuring the salon consistently delivers an outstanding client experience.
  • We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and results-driven Salon Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy salon.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the salon to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Monitor appointment scheduling, client flow, and service turnaround times.
  • Ensure all salon services are delivered in line with quality and brand standards.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.

Team Leadership & Staff Management:

  • Identify training needs and organize staff development initiatives.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, shifts, and attendance management.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate salon staff, including stylists, therapists, receptionists, and support personnel.

Customer Experience Management:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service at all touchpoints.
  • Monitor client feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and referrals.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
  • Drive revenue through effective sales strategies, promotions, and upselling opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and improve profitability.
  • Set and track targets for service sales and retail product sales.

Inventory & Procurement Management:

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure proper stock control measures are in place to minimize wastage and theft.
  • Monitor inventory levels of salon products, equipment, and supplies.

Financial & Administrative Management:

  • Prepare operational and sales reports for management review.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and daily financial transactions.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the salon.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in salon management, beauty operations, hospitality, retail operations, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in sales management and revenue generation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in salon management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
